Althea (Donalson) Williams
Married since March 1991, Jimmy and Althea (Donalson) Williams have experienced heartache, failure, disappointment, and pain. Together they have faced failed marriages and come together with a now adult blended family of twin girls and three boys and now have the greatest joy of their lives, seven grandchildren ranging from age two to nineteen.
Together they have faced the challenges of blending families, failing at various endeavors, struggling financially, spiritually, and have learned how to make mistakes. They certainly have not found all the answers to any given subject.
They have, however, experienced first hand the many ways God provides for those who are obedient. Additionally, God has taught them, “In all things give thanks” which should not be confused with, “for all circumstances give thanks.”
Althea and Jimmy are extremely active in their local church. Althea serves the church as Minister of Evangelism, sings on the Praise Team, serves as a mentor to new and growing Christians, and is always available to help out whenever and whereever needed. Her passion is evangelism and desires to see all come to a personal relationship with Christ. In preparation for the answer of God's call upon her life she is attending Nazarene Bible College On-Line full-time to earn a double-major in Christian Counseling and Ministerial Studies. Her heart and her studies have helped her to discover that God is calling her to share his healing love through the expereinces she has had on her own, as well as those she has learned from by supporting her husband through his struggles.
Healing Lives Ministry
Healing Lives Ministry (HLM) was started as the response to a full-time Christian service call to Evangelism on the life of Althea given in July 2007, and accepted in September 2007. As a result of all of the brokenness in our lives, God has given us a compassion for those who are hurting. So many times, because we live in a world that is full of sin, bad things happen to really great people. God is the answer to every problem and every situation. God has made it clear that He wants to use our lives to help others who are wounded and broken.
God has a use for every thing we have experienced.
